ABSTRACT: The Impact of Lifelong Learning Policies on Vocational Workforce Readiness examines how policies promoting continuous learning influence the preparedness of vocational graduates for the workforce. This study explores the effects of lifelong learning initiatives on skill development, career adaptability, and employment outcomes. The objectives were: to assess the implementation and effectiveness of lifelong learning policies in vocational education, to evaluate their impact on vocational workforce readiness and employability, and to identify barriers and facilitators to policy implementation. A survey design was selected to gather comprehensive data from vocational educators, policymakers, and employers, ensuring a broad perspective on policy impacts. A sample size of 300 respondents was chosen using a purposive sampling technique to include participants with direct involvement in policy development and vocational training. The case study focused on the Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya, Kaduna State. Findings indicated that lifelong learning policies positively influenced vocational workforce readiness by promoting continuous skill development and adaptability to changing job market demands. It was recommended that policymakers should enhance the accessibility of lifelong learning opportunities, collaborate with industry to align training with workforce needs, and invest in supportive infrastructure for lifelong learning initiatives.
